What is an FAQ?

We discovered upon putting this page together than not everyone knows what an FAQ is. Well – it’s a Frequently Asked Question. Every day’s a school day, eh?

I don’t know what I want…where do I start?

Just give us a call. We can have an informal chat to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and provide you with some examples and ideas to help you get down to what you are really looking for. Or take a look round our site at some of the films we’ve already made.

How much does it cost?

We offer a range of animation packages, to accommodate all budgets. Our UGnoodle ‘do it yourself’ animation service starts from as little as £550! Alternatively, if you want something more unique, we can create a bespoke animation for you, which start from around £3500.

What geographical areas do you cover?

We are based in the heart of the country, this means we are able to travel to anywhere in the UK, and London is only an hour away.

Do you offer a scripting service?

Yes, once we know the key messages you wish to convey, our writer can prepare a script for you to review.

Do you offer voice-overs?

Yes. They are included in our packages and if you choose a bespoke option then we can even do a casting to specify the age, gender or accent. Alternatively, why not just let the animation do the talking!

Is music included?

We offer library music to suit a range of tastes starting from just £65. Prices for commercial tracks like well-known singers or popular bands start at around 5k.

What if I have seen something I already like?

We can produce any style or length of animation. All you need to do is send us your examples and we will come up with the goods!

I want to make a film. How long should it be?

The length of you film will depend on the amount of information you want to convey – we would suggest keeping it as short as you can. Ninety seconds is an ideal length, but we advise certainly no more than three minutes.

Can we have a famous voice or presenter included in our film?

Yes, we have access to thousands of talent directories, which include celebrities from both sides of the pond. Costs start from £500.

Can I have a combination of animation and film?

Yes you can and it will be seamlessly made to look part of the film, you can even animate green screen backgrounds; the options are endless!

How long does it all take?

Depending on the availability of the filming locations, it can take as little as 4-6 weeks, with template animation taking as little as 2 weeks.

What type of equipment do you use?

We use all sorts of software and hardware but primarily work in After effects, Final Cut, Adobe Premier Pro and Cinema 4d.

How will my footage be stored?

Safely! We store all projects free of charge in the office but also offer an additional back up solution for offsite storage. Ask more for details.

What formats can the final video be provided in?

Your final film will be provided in a digital format, either mp4 or .mov depending on where you want to use it. We offer many alternatives though, so if you need it for the big screen or want it on a USB or DVD, we can help with that also.

Do you offer multi-language videos?

Yes we do. We offer many solutions for multi-language products with both subbing and dubbing in any language.

Where can I find your previous work?

There are some examples provided here on this website under ‘portfolio’. We are making films all the time, so if you do not find what you are looking for check out our You Tube and Vimeo channel, or get in touch and we can send you links and passwords to some of our more recent projects.

Who have you done work for previously?

We have worked with many well-known names including AstraZeneca, IBM, Hilton, HSBC, Sparx, AO and a variety of well-known agencies.

What happens if I am not satisfied?

Do not worry, we will work closely with you to make sure we stay on the same page and you are happy with the final product. Every project is very carefully planned out from the start; ensuring key review milestones are in place, throughout the project.

Do you offer work experience or Internships?

Yes we do! We pride ourselves on offering actual work experience in various fields rather than demanding rounds of teas or coffees every five minutes. Previous G’lumni’s have progressed into the industry and some have even established themselves as a permanent member of the team. For all work experience enquiries email us at
